The design for this wedding invitation was produced entirely in WordPerfect and printed on a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 2100
Several fonts and sizes were used, in order contrast parts of the form and also to create a combination of artistic relevance and readability. Some ornate presentation fonts look great except for a few capitals, which had to be exchanged for a similar, more readable character.
Space saving and alignment was acheived by sizing gaps and tabs accordingly.
The Double-Happiness image for the front panel was scanned and cleaned in PaintShopPro 8.
The image for the "Thank-Yous" was taken at the reception, scanned at 600dpi, then - using PaintShopPro-8 - the background was removed, the couple moved closer together, the faces & some shadows lightened and rendered in black & white with a fuzzy fading oval superimposed.
( All this could have been done with PhotoAlbum - but its much more fun doing it manually in PSP. )
